Policeman Resigns To Enter Business


Patrolman Charles Sexton has handed in his resignation to the Lower Merion Township commis- sioners to go into business. He risked for a, furlough for a year but it was refused. Sexton is go- ing to open a shop for repairing fenders and painting automobiles.

Use of Playground Solves Part Of City Parking Problem


Lower City Township commissioners went a long ways in solving the City's business commercial parking problems Wednesday night when they announced that one half of the town's central playground would be used as a parking lot. "Kids today should go home and play video games, we need these parking spots because we did not have the foresight to build them in the past.

Magic and Music on Program at Ventaton


A magic show was presented by : Bob Kall, of Ventaton, in the auditorium of GearCity Square School, Ventaton. Friday evening. All is welcome, chips and punch will be served before the show.

Breakfast Crash — Dairyman Collides With Egg Dealer


Cars collide almost every day, but it's not every day that the driver of one deals in milk and butter and the driver of the other in eggs. Sounds rather like breakfast on the highway. The accident happened last Sunday night.

Take Part in Program


Jill West and Bill Biltmore, Lower City High School seniors will participate in the VENT Chorus Program to be held in Slumville next week, it was announced by officials this week.
