GEARCITY SCHOOL NEWSA play was presented by Miss Brown in the auditorium at assembly yesterday. The play entitled 'A Rough Day.' Was about a teacher, Miss Anybody, who has a very bad class and just can't control them. A boy named Very Dickens, who was full of mischief, didn't help the class at all. A very helpful child, Amy Goodkind helped the teacher from losing her temper. Petition Seeks Enlargement Of West VENT Voting DistrictA petition seeking to enlarge the West Slumville election district of Lower City Township by incorporating in it portions of the Slumville and North Hicktown No. 1 districts was presented to the Big County Court on Monday. Take Part in ProgramJill West and Bill Biltmore, Lower City High School seniors will participate in the VENT Chorus Program to be held in Slumville next week, it was announced by officials this week. |
