Magic and Music on Program at Ventaton


A magic show was presented by : Bob Kall, of Ventaton, in the auditorium of GearCity Square School, Ventaton. Friday evening. All is welcome, chips and punch will be served before the show.

Attack Fatal To City Woman


An elderly woman collapsed on the street early Monday morning and died shortly afterward on the way to the Hospital of the Seriously Ill with a heart attack. She was Miss Jane Doe. An employ of the Autocar Company. The 64-year-old woman was stricken as she was walking to work at 7:15 A. M., in front of Frank's Shop. Patrolman Barny Fife of the Lower City Township Police, noticed the woman as she stumbled and fell. He made her as comfortable as possible, then called for an ambulance. She was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead on arrival by Dr. S. Livingless.

Bad Kids, Bad Parents


Nelson said that 90 per cent of 9,000 children he had witnessed parading before judges of juveniTe courts came from homes which were disrupted by divorce or other reasons. "Parents should establish a Arm home relationship on which children can depend," declared Nelson.

Use of Playground Solves Part Of City Parking Problem


Lower City Township commissioners went a long ways in solving the City's business commercial parking problems Wednesday night when they announced that one half of the town's central playground would be used as a parking lot. "Kids today should go home and play video games, we need these parking spots because we did not have the foresight to build them in the past.

Take Part in Program


Jill West and Bill Biltmore, Lower City High School seniors will participate in the VENT Chorus Program to be held in Slumville next week, it was announced by officials this week.
