Group Plans Outing For This SaturdayThe Twenty-To Club, a social club for young men and women interested in social and outing ac- tivities will meet on Thursday evening at the Main Line YMCA at 8 P. M. Plans have been made for horseback riding on Saturday afternoon. Racial Origins Topic At Rotary ClubRacial origins in Ireland were discussed by Ronald McDonald, artist and teacher of the Gaelic language, at the Tuesday meeting of the BalaCynwydGyawanaw Rotary Club at the Overpriced Golf Club. He also gave an accountant of the work of St. Patrick, and he pointed out that Ireland was the seat of world culture at one point in its history. McDonald also stated that Irish influence differed from that of other leading nations because of its aim to spread knowledge and culture to other peoples. |
Use of Playground Solves Part Of City Parking ProblemLower City Township commissioners went a long ways in solving the City's business commercial parking problems Wednesday night when they announced that one half of the town's central playground would be used as a parking lot. "Kids today should go home and play video games, we need these parking spots because we did not have the foresight to build them in the past. |
