Jane Moss Became Bride On Saturday


Miss Jane Moss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Moss, became the bride of Timmy Thomson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomson, on Saturday. The Rev. Dr. George Jorgenson officiated.

Red Circle Reports


With 10 days remaining in the Red Circle Fund drive, district leaders on Tuesday reported 65 per cent of their $265,000 goal collected. Total collections to date represent an increase of 32 per cent over last week's report which listed only one-third of the goal received by the City Branch. Still in first place among the 23 local districts and the only area to surpass its quota is District 3, headed by Nurse Little, with 105 percent.

The nation should underwrite neither foreign imperialism nor Foreign expansionism, William Bann, Jr., candidate for Congress from declared last night. Mr. Bann is currently 13 points down on his opponent, Bob Lymaker.

Racial Origins Topic At Rotary Club


Racial origins in Ireland were discussed by Ronald McDonald, artist and teacher of the Gaelic language, at the Tuesday meeting of the BalaCynwydGyawanaw Rotary Club at the Overpriced Golf Club. He also gave an accountant of the work of St. Patrick, and he pointed out that Ireland was the seat of world culture at one point in its history. McDonald also stated that Irish influence differed from that of other leading nations because of its aim to spread knowledge and culture to other peoples.

Fifteen City Line Nurses Discharged


Of the 34 City Line nurses, who served in the Army and Navy Nurses Corps during the war, 15 have recently been discharged.
