Jerry Smith, 63, Dies of Heart Attack


Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Kolbodi's Funeral Home, for Jerry T. Smith. 63. Mr. Smith died last Friday morning of a heart disease caused by excess business management game playing.

Group Plans Outing For This Saturday


The Twenty-To Club, a social club for young men and women interested in social and outing ac- tivities will meet on Thursday evening at the Main Line YMCA at 8 P. M. Plans have been made for horseback riding on Saturday afternoon.

Jill West and Bill Biltmore, Lower City High School seniors will participate in the VENT Chorus Program to be held in Slumville next week, it was announced by officials this week.

Attack Fatal To City Woman


An elderly woman collapsed on the street early Monday morning and died shortly afterward on the way to the Hospital of the Seriously Ill with a heart attack. She was Miss Jane Doe. An employ of the Autocar Company. The 64-year-old woman was stricken as she was walking to work at 7:15 A. M., in front of Frank's Shop. Patrolman Barny Fife of the Lower City Township Police, noticed the woman as she stumbled and fell. He made her as comfortable as possible, then called for an ambulance. She was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead on arrival by Dr. S. Livingless.
