Choctaw Group Celebrate 50th Anniversary


The 50th anniversary of Choctaw Tribe. Improved Order of Choctaw Group, will open with a meeting at the firehouse on Friday evening.

Breakfast Crash — Dairyman Collides With Egg Dealer


Cars collide almost every day, but it's not every day that the driver of one deals in milk and butter and the driver of the other in eggs. Sounds rather like breakfast on the highway. The accident happened last Sunday night.

Local Teachers In Conference


Nearly fifty GearCountians will take active parts in the program during the 33rd. annual 'We Don't Need No Education' conference which will be held next week under the auspices of the University of Bad Ideas.
