Economic Recession
Economist have noticed a slow down in the Bolivia economy. As consumer confidence and purchasing power continues to fall, Automobile manufacturers will be hurt by economic downturn.

Cost Conference


Jim C. Moore, president of the GearCity Chapter, National Association of Cost Accountants, announced yesterday that the GearCity Regional Cost Conference will be held at the VENT Hotel.

City Legion Post Plan Formal Party


The City Post of the National Legion is planning its first formal party of the season.. The party will be held at the City Tribute House with members and guests gathering for cocktails in the lounge before an 8 o'clock dinner. Dancing will continue until 1 A. M.

Fifteen City Line Nurses Discharged


Of the 34 City Line nurses, who served in the Army and Navy Nurses Corps during the war, 15 have recently been discharged.
