Make Appeal For Self DeterminationThe nation should underwrite neither foreign imperialism nor Foreign expansionism, William Bann, Jr., candidate for Congress from declared last night. Mr. Bann is currently 13 points down on his opponent, Bob Lymaker. Red Circle ReportsWith 10 days remaining in the Red Circle Fund drive, district leaders on Tuesday reported 65 per cent of their $265,000 goal collected. Total collections to date represent an increase of 32 per cent over last week's report which listed only one-third of the goal received by the City Branch. Still in first place among the 23 local districts and the only area to surpass its quota is District 3, headed by Nurse Little, with 105 percent. |
Sale Will Be HeldApproximately 1,277 properties, seized for non-payment of taxes, will be sold at sales to be conducted by County Treasurer Edwin Moneytaker at the Court House. The properties will be those taken over for the past years. |
