Choctaw Group Celebrate 50th AnniversaryThe 50th anniversary of Choctaw Tribe. Improved Order of Choctaw Group, will open with a meeting at the firehouse on Friday evening. GEARCITY SCHOOL NEWSA play was presented by Miss Brown in the auditorium at assembly yesterday. The play entitled 'A Rough Day.' Was about a teacher, Miss Anybody, who has a very bad class and just can't control them. A boy named Very Dickens, who was full of mischief, didn't help the class at all. A very helpful child, Amy Goodkind helped the teacher from losing her temper. |
Local Teachers In ConferenceNearly fifty GearCountians will take active parts in the program during the 33rd. annual 'We Don't Need No Education' conference which will be held next week under the auspices of the University of Bad Ideas. |
