Cost ConferenceJim C. Moore, president of the GearCity Chapter, National Association of Cost Accountants, announced yesterday that the GearCity Regional Cost Conference will be held at the VENT Hotel. Letter to Editor: Worthwhile CauseThere's a worthwhile cause roundabout the Boro, to which I know you'll want to contribute when you hear the facts. Hatfield was telling me that the Slumville Boy's Club baseball team needs about S200. They did right well last year, all but winning the championship, and they need money for balls, bats and umpires. He is the athletic director of the outfit. Do give them a little financial backing because they need it and deserve it. |
