Policeman Resigns To Enter BusinessPatrolman Charles Sexton has handed in his resignation to the Lower Merion Township commis- sioners to go into business. He risked for a, furlough for a year but it was refused. Sexton is go- ing to open a shop for repairing fenders and painting automobiles. Use of Playground Solves Part Of City Parking ProblemLower City Township commissioners went a long ways in solving the City's business commercial parking problems Wednesday night when they announced that one half of the town's central playground would be used as a parking lot. "Kids today should go home and play video games, we need these parking spots because we did not have the foresight to build them in the past. |
Sale Will Be HeldApproximately 1,277 properties, seized for non-payment of taxes, will be sold at sales to be conducted by County Treasurer Edwin Moneytaker at the Court House. The properties will be those taken over for the past years. |
