GearCity Man Hurt In Slight AccidentA GearCity man was injured last Thursday evening in an automobile manufacturing game accident. No further comments were made. Policeman Resigns To Enter BusinessPatrolman Charles Sexton has handed in his resignation to the Lower Merion Township commis- sioners to go into business. He risked for a, furlough for a year but it was refused. Sexton is go- ing to open a shop for repairing fenders and painting automobiles. |
Letter to Editor: Worthwhile CauseThere's a worthwhile cause roundabout the Boro, to which I know you'll want to contribute when you hear the facts. Hatfield was telling me that the Slumville Boy's Club baseball team needs about S200. They did right well last year, all but winning the championship, and they need money for balls, bats and umpires. He is the athletic director of the outfit. Do give them a little financial backing because they need it and deserve it. |
