Red Circle Reports


With 10 days remaining in the Red Circle Fund drive, district leaders on Tuesday reported 65 per cent of their $265,000 goal collected. Total collections to date represent an increase of 32 per cent over last week's report which listed only one-third of the goal received by the City Branch. Still in first place among the 23 local districts and the only area to surpass its quota is District 3, headed by Nurse Little, with 105 percent.

Library to Observe 25th Anniversary


At the Library Association meeting on Monday night, plans for the observance of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the GearCity Community Library were made.

Park Civic to Hold Party


A general meeting and a community party were planned at the Tuesday night executive session of the City Park Civic Association held at the Mrs. Link's home
